Judgment and Elimination of Blockage of Concrete Pump Truck

1. The inlet is blocked:

The pumping action and hydraulics are normal, there are no abnormal sounds and vibrations, there are large aggregates or lumps in the hopper, stuck and blocked at the inlet or arch.

Remedy: reverse pump operation, destroy the agglomeration, make the commercial concrete return to the hopper for mixing, and then pump it forward. If it doesn't work, it needs to be cleaned and deleted manually.

2. Blockage at the outlet of the distribution valve of the concrete pump truck:

The pumping system was suddenly interrupted, and there was an abnormal noise, and the equipment vibrated strongly, but there was no corresponding vibration in the pipeline.

Elimination method: Pour 15~30L cement slurry into the hopper, and repeatedly pressurize and force the channel to open. If this method does not work, it can only be removed manually, remove the connected pipes, and remove the debris inside the valve.

3. The s-pipe valve is blocked:

The blockage of the s-pipe valve is gradually formed. The main reason is that after pumping the commercial concrete, it is not flushed with high-pressure water in time, resulting in the residual of the commercial concrete in the s-pipe, which gradually thickens and accumulates and consolidates over time, resulting in blockage.

Remedy: After the pumping of commercial concrete is completed, be sure to use high-pressure water to flush the pump body and S-pipe. When washing is ineffective, you can use a tap to remove the residue until it is completely cleaned.

4. Blockage of commercial concrete pipeline:

When the conveying pressure gradually increases and the material level of the hopper does not drop, the outlet of the pipeline does not feed, the pump vibrates, and the pipeline is accompanied by strong vibration and displacement. It can be judged that the pipeline is blocked.

Judgment of blockage position: Blockage usually occurs in elbows, cones and parts with vibration. At this time, the hammer can be used along the pipe, and the place where the sound is dull is the plug; the sound is very clear. With ear, it is normal to have a rustling sound, and there are places where the harsh sound is blocked.

Elimination method: When the blockage occurs, the method of repeated forward and reverse pumps should be adopted immediately, and the pump outlet of the commercial concrete suction hopper should be gradually mixed and transported again. It can also use the wooden hammer percussion method, combined with the forward and reverse pumps, to dredge;

When the above methods are ineffective, it means severe blockage. After finding the blockage, remove the pipe, blow air with high pressure air or hammer or flush with high pressure water, then connect the pipe to continue pumping the ready-made concrete.
